These frozen banana bites sandwiching our favorite nut butters are the perfect healthy warm weather treat. Keep a batch in the freezer for easy snacking and enjoy two bites for less than 100 calories! Recipes don’t get much simpler than this but honestly this is one of our favorite treats of the summer! It’s the perfect after-dinner treat when you’re craving something a little sweet.
2 oz. vanilla Greek Yogurt
1 Tbsp all-natural peanut butter
In a small bowl, mash one banana and whisk together with Greek yogurt and your favorite nut butter (we went with the Mocha Almond Butter here); set aside.
Slice bananas into half-inch thick slices and lay out on a cookie sheet.
Spread an even amount of peanut butter mixture over top of the slices and place another slice on top. If the bananas start sliding around, feel free to add a bit more nut butter simply to make the mixture thicker.
Place cookie sheet in the freezer for a minimum of 2 hours and enjoy after your workout!
